Comarch ECOD Platform partners with new retail chains in Ukraine

During the first quarter of 2010 Comarch in Ukraine has established cooperation for electronic document exchange with the retail chains of Rukavychka, Obzhora and EVA. Comarch ECOD Platform is now being used by international and regional market leaders in the retail & FMCG industries: Metro Cash & Carry, Auchan, Fozzy, Furshet, Kviza Trade.

Comarch ECOD  Platform has been on the Ukrainian market since 2005. In this time it has become the market leader in electronic document exchange. Currently, its customer list includes 15 major retail chains and more than 1,800 suppliers.

- In 2010 Comarch is launching a new service called Comarch ECOD SA2 Products on the Ukrainian market. Current and prospective customers using an integrated solution of Comarch ECOD Operator and SA2 Worldsync Product Catalogue  have the opportunity to exchange extensive information about products - says Anatoly Arcimowicz, Sales Director, Comarch ECOD Ukraine - The use of these two technologies will bring about many cost savings and increase supply chain speed. It is also worth noting that another innovation in the EDI market - the Ukrainian Comarch ECOD portal - will be launched in April.

Comarch is a member of GS1 Ukraine, a global organization that deals with the establishment and implementation of standards for identification and communication.
