Celebrating 25 Years of Lotusmiles at Vietnam Airlines’ Event

On October 1st, Comarch participated in Lotusmiles’ 25th anniversary – our client’s Vietnam Airlines’ groundbreaking airline loyalty program. 

Lotusmiles began its journey in December 1999 with the launch of the Golden Lotus Plus program, setting a new standard for customer loyalty in aviation. Starting from just 9,000 members, Lotusmiles expanded its global reach through strategic partnerships and embracing digital transformation to now boast over 6 million loyalty members.

With initiatives such as setting up the Million Miler and Cash & Miles or joining the SkyTeam alliance, Lotusmiles has consistently worked towards a more seamless, innovative, and simply enjoyable customer experience for their airline customers. Members of Lotusmiles can enjoy a variety of awards on Vietnam Airlines, including award tickets, upgrade awards, and excess baggage allowance awards, while also having access to non-airline benefits and services.

This dedication to improving the airline loyalty landscape gained the program many industry accolades, including “Best Loyalty Program - Travel & Hospitality” and Best Loyalty Strategy - Entertainment & Media” at the Loyalty & Engagement Awards.

To commemorate the 25 years of this impressive growth, Vietnam Airlines has recently held an anniversary event. Held on October 1st, 2024, in Hanoi, it was a wonderful celebration of airline loyalty. Comarch was the event’s Gold Sponsor, with our team represented by Jan Svorobovic and Piotr Kozłowski.
