Nida Unas, Director of Loyalty at Alshaya Group, recently appeared on the Blind Loyalty Challenge, hosted by Amanda Cromhout. During the interview, Nida answered spontaneous questions, offering a glimpse into the thought process behind one of the industry's leading loyalty programs.
The Alshaya's loyalty program, Aura, has achieved impressive results since its inception, amassing over 8 million members in just two years. But that’s only the beginning of its success.
Earlier this year, Aura won „Best Loyalty Programme of the Year - Food Retail & Non-Food Retail” at the 2024 International Loyalty Awards, making Comarch proud to be a part of this partnership.
On the Blind Loyalty Challenge, when asked about the most important loyalty KPI, how member behavior changes after redemption activities, and her personal favorite surprise-and-delight experience, Nida emphasized the importance of building relationships through small yet meaningful gestures.
Loyalty is truly built on all these relationships as well. It’s the little gestures that make the big impact, so the more gifts we can hand out and reward our customers, the more loyal they’ll be.
