By implementing best practices to maintain your IT infrastructure, Comarch Managed Services help to reduce your operational overheads and meet business requirements regarding stringent SLAs, adherence to corporate compliance and system integration.
16. What is the difference between regular IaaS and managed services?
IaaS is infrastructure, while managed services create an additional layer, which enables our customers flexible access to skilled personnel, saving costs at the same time.
17. My current provider is charging only €50 a month. Why should I switch to an IaaS provider?
It is important to take into account all components of an IaaS service when comparing the prices. These components may include computing and storage resources, backups, Internet access and data transfer (inbound and outbound). Some providers charge extra (beyond the monthly fee) for additional services that become crucial after a few months of using the service. Our approach is to always present a transparent pricing model. If you would like to make a thorough comparison of your current services with our offers, contact our sales team here: info@comarch.com
18. How frequently do you do backups?
We make incremental system backups once a day. Once a week, we make full backups. Databases are backed-up continuously. Additionally, the backup policy strictly depends on customers’ requirements and the specific properties of the systems hosted for them.
19. How many IP addresses will I get?
You can get as many IP addresses as you need for your system or the whole environment. Public IP addresses incur additional monthly charges.
20. Can I firewall my servers?
Yes, you can.
21. How will I be billed for IaaS?
Typically on a monthly basis. Other options are also available on request.
22. Do you provide SSL certification?
Yes, we provide it as an option.
23. Do you provide domain names?
Yes, we provide them as an option.
24. Will the IaaS provider install the SSL certificate for me?
It is possible within the scope of our managed services.
25. Do you provide nameservers?
Yes, we do.
26. What is bandwidth?
When referring to a data connection, bandwidth is the total maximum transfer rate of a network connection or device. Essentially, it is a measurement of how fast data can be sent over a wired or wireless connection, usually measured in bits per second. Our data centers have fiber connections to at least two providers. We are able to offer bandwidth up to 10Gbps.
