Hermes Germany, headquartered in Hamburg, is a leading logistics service provider in Germany and a partner to numerous online stores and multi-channel retailers both there and abroad. The focus of Hermes Germany is on national parcel delivery. With Hermes International and Hermes BorderGuru, Hermes Germany also offers services in international parcel shipping and handling upstream goods flows via sea, air, rail, and road transport worldwide.
Hermes Germany GmbH has launched a significant digitization project to increase efficiency and flexibility. In line with the size and complexity of the organization, the new ERP system needed to be flexible in use while simplifying, automating, and accelerating processes. The decision was made to choose Comarch ERP Enterprise. The software is developed in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, is 100% cloud-enabled, and can be hosted in a Comarch Data Center in German-speaking countries.
In 2017, Hermes also opted for Comarch ICT as part of the digitization project. In 2022, this contract was extended due to good cooperation. Hosting includes, for example, the provision of modern hardware and software technologies. In combination with additional services, these guarantee high availability. This includes data center capacity, hardware, software, and IT services for the operation, management, and administration of the Comarch ERP Enterprise software. In addition, a highly available system environment is provided.
Hosting certified by ISAE Trusted Projects Program, backup solutions, performance analysis, optimization, reporting, and managed services in the data center were also ordered. This ensures IT support around the clock.
As a result of the positive experience gained over the many years of the project, the contract with Comarch ICT for additional services such as hosting and security services has now been extended and expanded for even greater performance.
Modern data processing and storage facilities used as an alternative for companies to expanding their IT infrastructure resources.
The good experiences in the partnership with Comarch have strengthened our decision. We are very satisfied with Comarch ICT and the many years of trusting collaboration."
