How Renault Dealership Management System became more powerful by moving to the Cloud
Renault Group is at the forefront of the reinvention of mobility. Strengthened by its alliance with Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors, and its unique expertise in electrification, the Group comprises five complementary brands (Renault, Dacia, LADA, Alpine and Mobilize) to offer sustainable and innovative mobility solutions to its customers.
Established in more than 130 countries, it currently employs more than 170,000 people in 39 countries and sold 2.95 million vehicles in 2020.
Renault Group needed an innovative, relatable infrastructure to host its Dealership Management System, which is a complex system for their independent dealers all across Europe and for Renault Retail Group in Warsaw, Poland. The system was formerly based on the IBM Power solution, but it wasn’t flexible enough and was very costly to maintain.
Comarch was the first vendor to introduce a full cloud service
for specific systems on the iSeries platform, formerly known as AS400.
We happily joined this innovative initiative."
