Comarch Approved as an Official Accredited Service Provider for the UAE E-Invoicing Mandate
Comarch has received official designation as an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) from the United Arab Emirates Federal Tax Authority (FTA). This landmark certification establishes Comarch as an official “Trust Anchor,” holding the exclusive authority to manage secure data transmission and obtain real-time clearance from the FTA within the nation’s new digital tax ecosystem.
The ASP’s Role in the 5-Corner Model
The UAE is moving toward a Decentralized Continuous Transaction Control and Exchange (DCTCE) framework, built on the Peppol 5-Corner Model. Within this structure, an ASP is now a legal requirement, functioning as Corner 2 and Corner 3 – the regulated intermediary that replaces direct, unsecured connections between trading partners.
The ASP’s status carries significant legal weight, as it assumes three core responsibilities on behalf of the business:
- Data Transformation: Converting invoice data into the mandatory, structured PINT-AE (UAE Data Dictionary) format.
- Exchange & Validation (Corner 3): Managing the data flow through the ASPs’ network and submissions to the FTA.
- Security & Authorization: Meeting stringent cybersecurity standards and managing secure archiving in compliance with UAE data sovereignty laws.
Get Ready for the January 2027 Mandate with an Accredited e-Invoicing Provider
Working with an officially accredited provider helps businesses avoid operational disruptions and financial penalties. Comarch’s accredited infrastructure is designed to prevent invoice rejections that could otherwise disrupt cash flow.
With the official penalty table now public – including fines of AED 5,000 for failing to appoint an ASP by the deadline – the cost of non-compliance is high. Comarch’s successful production tests with the EmaraTax portal and its proven track record in PINT-AE mapping position the company as a leader for the upcoming January 2027 mandate.
“ASP status is more than a technical label; it is a guarantee of legal validity for our clients’ revenue cycles,” says the Comarch MEA team. “By serving as a secure Trust Anchor, we enable businesses operating in the UAE to transform a compliance hurdle into a competitive advantage through seamless automation.”
