Saudi Arabia’s Seventeenth Wave of E-Invoicing Mandate
On November 1, 2024, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) announced the seventeenth wave of businesses required to comply with Phase 2 of Saudi Arabia's e-invoicing mandate. This group includes businesses with annual VAT-revenue exceeding SAR 2.5 million (around EUR 616,000) in 2022 or 2023.
These businesses must integrate with the FATOORA platform by July 31, 2025, to meet the Phase 2 compliance requirements. ZATCA will notify affected taxpayers, ensuring they are fully prepared to meet the deadline.
The move is part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to streamline VAT processes and improve tax administration through digital invoicing.
