The French government decided, before the implementation of mandatory e-invoicing, which will take place on July 1, 2024, to conduct a pilot phase from January 3, 2024, to July 1, 2024.
Comarch intends to participate in this pilot phase, the assumptions of which provide for the imposition of numerous obligations on PDP candidates. The final decision on the qualified candidates will be announced in mid-August 2023.
In order to participate in this process, Comarch will become the leader of a team that will consist of indicated clients and their partners, with whom they exchange invoices. We will be involved in the process of managing the comprehensive e-invoicing and e-reporting processes. It will be mandatory to send and receive invoices in one of the three required document formats, and to handle e-reporting flows (transaction and payment) for French, domestic B2B relations, and international B2B and B2C transactions. All these activities will allow the most thorough testing of the entire process and the identification of any gaps.
During the pilot phase, each participant will have the opportunity to participate in AIFE (COSUI) meetings in monthly cycles before the start of the pilot and every week from January 2024, but also the obligation to report to AIFE results such as data volume, use case coverage rate, various flows such as PDP to PPF, incident resolution, etc.
We believe that participation in this process will give Comarch the opportunity to gain extensive experience before starting customer service in France after July 1, 2024.
