Another Land with B2G Duty in Germany
Germany is one of the countries with varying obligations regarding the electronic invoicing. Although in the future it is planned to standardize the obligation of e-invoicing by introducing the CTC model, there are still legal differences in individual Länder (states).
Mandatory B2G e-invoicing
The authorities of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania announced mandatory e-invoicing in the B2G area from April 1, 2023. As before, it will be done via the OZG-RE platform. This possibility has existed since April 18, 2020.
Via the OZG-RE, you can send electronic invoices to the contracting authorities of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The invoices are automatically checked for formal correctness by OZG-RE.
The electronic invoices are then made available to the contracting authorities via the Leitweg ID (electronic address). The Leitweg ID is communicated to the biller by the invoice recipient, and must be specified in the invoice.
Invoicing transmission channels
You can choose the following OZG-RE transmission channels for invoicing:
- Submission by means of Weber entry in the specialist application
- Submission by upload of files
- Submission via web services via an IT interface
- Submission by email to the OZG-RE of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania
