How Comarch Helped Škoda Auto Unify Parking Applications and Improve Driving Experience
When Škoda Auto, an automobile manufacturer with a history dating back to the 1890s, decided to develop a “Pay to Park” service in Europe, their goal was to offer a straightforward and convenient view of parking options, fees, and payment methods. In other words, to make every day driving more seamless for their users.
After several years of successful cooperation, Škoda decided to work with Comarch again in order to overcome the numerous challenges of the “Pay to Park” project, such as different requirements for different countries, the complexity of the system with a large number of parking operators or the multiple screens application layout. With what result? In 2023, the application received the Car Connectivity Award from the German magazine “Auto Motor und Sport”.
