The Internet of Things is a concept that was first formulated in 1999 by Kevin Ashton. In his understanding, it is a system in which objects, equipped with special sensors, communicate and exchange data with computers and other devices. This process is carried out using a variety of network solutions, in particular, wireless. In practice, this concept began to be implemented in 2008-2009. At that time, the number of devices connected to the Internet exceeded the world's population. Therefore, this moment is determined by the real beginning of the use of the concept of IoT. Comarch has success in implementations of IoT solutions.
